Flemish singer Will Tura looks back on his career, from the early 1960s to the present.

synopsis

Will Tura made history as a singer. In 1974 he was the first Belgian artist to fill the Vorst Nationaal concert hall, and his performance at the funeral of King Baudouin is etched in the collective memory. Looking back on his 60-year career amounts to a nostalgic trip through recent Flemish history, from the early 1960s to the present day.
Will Tura schreef als Keizer van het Vlaamse Lied geschiedenis. Hij liet als eerste Belgische artiest in 1974 rocktempel Vorst Nationaal vollopen en zijn vertolking op de begrafenis van Koning Boudewijn staat in het collectieve geheugen gegrift. Een terugblik op zijn 60-jarige carrière valt dan ook een groot stuk samen met een nostalgische trip doorheen Vlaanderen van de prille jaren ’60 tot nu.
