Pascaline's brasserie is home to a series of conflicted customers.

synopsis

Fortysomething Pascaline runs a brasserie and prepares the stylish dining room for Valentine. But does she really expect her lover of 20 years ago to appear and ask her to go to Rio with him? Other customers also cope with the unexpected: bored housewife Rose informs her husband that she has a lover; Mia intends to commit suicide until she is wooed by waiter Lesley; and inconspicuous civil servant Walter is wracked with insecurity when seated in front of the woman of his dreams.
La "Brasserie romantique" est un restaurant de bonne réputation. Il est géré par Pascaline, l'exploitante, et Angelo, le chef de cuisine. Depuis quelques années, le restaurant est présenté comme un établissement d'exception dans le guide culinaire Gault et Millau. Ce soir, c'est la Saint-Valentin; l'une des soirées les plus animées de l'année. Angelo prépare un menu romantique pour l'occasion tandis que Pascaline a dressé les tables avec soin. Comme toujours, Pascaline a tout sous contrôle. En salle comme en cuisine, les attentes sont grandes...
De 'Brasserie Romantiek' is een gerenommeerd restaurant. Het wordt met succes gerund door uitbaatster Pascaline en kok Angelo. Sinds enkele jaren heeft de zaak een begeerde 'koksmuts' in de Gault Millau-gids. Vanavond is het Valentijn: één van de drukste avonden van het jaar. Angelo zorgt voor een passend liefdesmenu en Pascaline heeft de tafels tiptop gedekt. Pascaline heeft alles onder controle in haar brasserie. Zoals altijd. In de keuken en in de zaal zijn de verwachtingen hoog gespannen.
