Ghislain Libart is a modest woodcutter from the Ardennes region who became a world player in international wood trading. In a tale of economic globalisation, European-cut trees are transported to Egypt to make 'neo-antique' furniture for the Chinese market.
Ghislain Libart est un modeste bûcheron de la région des Ardennes qui est devenu un acteur mondial dans le commerce du bois. Les arbres européens coupés sont transportés vers l’Egypte, pour en faire des meubles « neo-antiques » à destination du marché chinois. Un modeste bûcheron présenté comme symbole de la globalisation économique.
