Shot in a dynamic visual style, the TV series Missing Persons Unit explores the tensions between their work and their private lives.

The members of the Missing Persons Unit urgently try to resolve suspicious disappearances. Their personal relationships and their family lives are often put to the test due to the stressful circumstances in which they have to work every day. The series was developed in close collaboration with the actual Missing Persons Unit which was established in the wake of the Dutroux case, and which has achieved worldwide recognition for its expertise.
Urgence Disparitions raconte l’histoire de quatre membres de l’Unité des Personnes Disparues qui, à chaque épisode, s’efforcent fébrilement de résoudre une disparition suspecte. Les relations personnelles qu’ils entretiennent entre eux et avec leur famille sont souvent mises à l’épreuve par les circonstances stressantes de leur travail au quotidien.
Vermist is een spannende Vlaamse reeks waarin een team speurders van de Cel Vermiste Personen op zoek gaat naar verdwenen mensen. De serie is ontwikkeld in nauwe samenwerking met de bestaande Cel Vermiste Personen, die werd opgericht in de nasleep van de zaak Dutroux en ondertussen wereldwijde erkenning geniet voor haar expertise.Vermist valt op door haar sterke verhalen en dynamische en filmische vertelstijl.
