Hevi, a teenage Yazidi girl, tries to survive with her mother and younger sister in war-torn Iraq. As armed men ravage the countryside, the family spends their days hiding in a cave near their abandoned village. In the midst of disaster, young Hevi is faced with a heartbreaking decision.
Hêvi, een tienermeisje, verbergt zich samen met haar moeder en jongere zus in een grot niet ver van hun verlaten dorp. Ze brengen hun dagen door in hun duistere schuilplaats, wachtend op de vader. Wanneer het noodlot echter toeslaat, dringt zich een moeilijke beslissing op aan de jonge Hêvi.
