synopsis

Helene is not feeling comfortable at home with her husband. And Arne is having serious issues with his mother, who is obsessed with her divorce from his father. Both leave home and by chance find one another, an experience that teaches them much about life and past events - and helps them move on. Or does it?
Een oudere vrouw, Hélène, gaat op zoek naar een invulling van de leegte in haar leven. Sinds de dood van haar enige zoon groeiden zij en haar man volledig uit elkaar en vindt ze niets dat haar hoopvolle perspectieven biedt. Door de toevallige ontmoeting met de 17-jarige Arne ontstaat er een nieuwe opening voor gevoelens en spontaniteit die haar kijk op het leven en op haar situatie verandert.
