EN - Fenix exposes the increasingly vague boundaries between the underworld and the upper world in criminal Brabant, a province in the south of the Netherlands. A son, Rens, and a daughter, Jara, return to Brabant to confront the demons of their past. There, they both encounter new sides of themselves.

Flanders well represented at Rotterdam

A number of Flemish features, shorts, documentaries and TV series have been selected for this year’s International Film Festival Rotterdam (24 Jan-4 Feb).

The Flower Shop Three features from Flanders have been selected for the Bright Futures section for emerging talent with original subject matter and an individual style. They are Ruben Desiere’s debut feature The Flower Shop; Christina Vandekerckhove’s documentary Rabot; and Kristof Hoornaert’s recently released debut feature Resurrection.
