synopsis

Eva Hendrickx, an ambitious young journalist working as part of television legend Herman Verbeeck's team, is determined to cover a story about riots in the suburbs of Brussels. She meets Lahbib, a Moroccan with a dark past who is her guide to his complex and brutal world. But Herman sees a way to exploit Eva's story in the ever-competitive media game.
Eva Hendrickx est une jeune journaliste ambitieuse qui travaille pour l’équipe de télé du légendaire Herman Verbeeck. Elle est déterminée de boucler un documentaire sur les quartiers chauds de Bruxelles. Alors que la violence se répand dans la ville entière, Eva rencontre Lahbib, un Maroccain avec un passé troublé. Il l’emmène dans son monde rude et complexe. Entretemps, dans le monde compétitif des médias, Herman Verbeeck essaie d’exploiter le documentaire d’Eva.
Eva Hendrickx is een ambitieuze jonge journaliste op de redactie van televisielegende Herman Verbeeck. Ze bijt zich vast in een reportage over de probleemwijken van Brussel wanneer daar rellen uitbreken. Terwijl de stad ondergedompeld wordt in een escalatie van geweld ontstaat er een intense band tussen Eva en Lahbib, een Marokkaan met een heftig verleden. Lahbib brengt haar steeds dieper in een complexe en broeierige gemeenschap. Intussen ziet Herman Verbeeck in de reportage van Eva dé gelegenheid om zich terug naar de top van de kijkcijfers te vechten in het competitieve medialandschap.
