In the summer of ’92 a party vacation ends in tragedy. Thirty years on, the friends reunite, but ghosts of the past soon appear to cast a shadow over their perfect summer.

synopsis

A group of friends in their twenties plan a party vacation in the summer of ’92. But what should be a last burst of fun before serious life begins, turns into tragedy when a fire breaks out and one of them dies. Thirty years on, the friends come together again to celebrate a birthday, on an island off the Côte d’Azur. Before the party can get underway, a video appears showing a gang rape that took place during that long-ago holiday. It can only have been sent by someone who was there. Someone who is also here, on the island...
Het begon dertig jaar geleden: een groep levenslustige jonge twintigers wil nog één vakantie lang feesten voor het serieuze leven begint. Maar dat loopt helemaal fout wanneer een van hen om het leven komt bij een tragisch incident. Dertig zomers later nodigen Romée en Peter dezelfde groep vrienden van toen uit om de verjaardag van Romée te vieren tijdens een lang weekend op een eilandje voor de Franse Azurenkust. Maar nog voor het feest echt kan losbarsten, is het al voorbij: er duikt een video op van de noodlottige avond tijdens die vakantie van dertig jaar geleden. Meteen is iedereen verdacht en het vertrouwen in de groep volledig zoek.
